About Vitality Health & Wellness
Vitality has its origins in 2012 when Dr. Chalmers was working with women who were buying Vitamin D3 and calcium. He asked them why they buying these products and they were told him for osteoporosis/osteopenia, bone density, issues. The issue was then brought up that while Vitamin D3 and Calcium are good for everyone and can help with bone density issues these women needed to get their testosterone checked. One of the biggest issues with bone density is that people start to lose proper levels of testosterone. We have known for a while now that osteoblastic formation is driven by testosterone, or that bone density is set by testosterone. Dr. Chalmers asked these women to get speak with their primary care doctors and their OBGYN and see about getting help with their testosterone. Many of these women came back and told Dr. Chalmers that they were told that testosterone is a male hormone and that women didn’t need it. Enough women came back and relayed this message from different specialists that Dr. Chalmers decided to partner with different groups to get the healthcare that these women actually needed.
As the process went on we discovered that many of the people we were helping, both men and women, had busy lives and could not make a weekly appointment to come in every Tuesday at 2:00. The issue became that we needed to find a way to help that also fit into everyone’s busy lives. This is where the concierge concept of Vitality Health and Wellness came from. We can now work with busy individuals, both women and men, all over the country to get their quality of lives back where they deserve it to be. The goal is now to streamline the process as much as possible while providing the safest and most professional HRT treatment. Partnering with LabCorp and Walgreens as national partners has been helpful to get all of our blood samples in and getting all of our prescriptions handled quickly and properly. We will work too hard to reduce any unneeded hassle with our process and allow everyone to live the highest quality and heathiest lives possible.
